“Making moments musical”


Boosh Stoodios creates family friendly musicals that will delight the young and young at heart. Inspired by the musical storytelling of Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, each program guides students aged 8-12 to build a joy if listening, learn music fundamentals, and develop skills to perform together.

Clients include San Diego Symphony, National Repertory Orchestra, and the Boise Philharmonic.

Each experience contains three parts that can be presented in a variety of configurations and timelines.

  • Chamber Music

    A chamber music performance in the classroom with a variety of instrumental ensembles: brass quintet, woodwind quintet, percussion quartet, and string quartet.

  • Curriculum

    Foster music appreciation

    Students will be able to listen with curiosity.

    Develop music literacy

    Students will be able to comprehend music with specific terminology to enrich individual musical tastes.

    Perform as an ensemble

    Students will learn to produce music confidently.

  • Orchestral Music

    the new frontier

    An interactive orchestral performance in the concert hall.

This musical introduction will guide young audiences into the wonders of music and help create a lifelong love for and meaningful relationship with music and the arts.

Each series’ standards are grounded in the National Core Art Standards (NCAS) vision of music literacy.
